About Course
Developing a professional e-portfolio is critical in supporting your professional development. During this course, you will learn skills to reflect on your professional practices and to use reflective language. This will help you in setting goals for development.
DPPE is a pre-requisite CPD course for the Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Centre Leadership (ADECL).
Note: This course will be conducted via online learning.
At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- apply the reflection cycle and reflective language to reflective practice as an educator;
- set goals for professional development;
- create an e-portfolio; and
- use appropriate citation and digital tools to credit external sources and protect the privacy of minors.
Upon completion of the course, you will be awarded a Certificate of Attainment from the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).
Entry Requirements
This course is for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Have completed an ECDA-recognised certificate or diploma in early childhood care and education.
- Be ECDA-certified as an EY2/L1/L2 teacher.
- Currently employed in a childcare centre registered or licensed with ECDA.
